Dr. Madison Beran is originally from Orange County but lived in Colorado for the last 13 years.
She recently moved to Marina Del Rey and resides on a sailboat, excited to serve the community of her home state. Dr. Beran received her Bachelor's degree from CU Boulder in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, her Master's degree from Roehampton University in London in Conservation Biology, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University.
With 14 years of experience in the veterinary field, Dr. Beran has worked in various areas, including small animal, small animal holistic, equine, wildlife, exotic, and zoo medicine. Her specific interests lie in surgery, internal medicine, conservation medicine, and client education.
Dr. Beran has an 11-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix named Aspen, who accompanies her on all her adventures. She is an outdoor and travel enthusiast, enjoying skiing at Mammoth, hiking with her dog and boyfriend, boating to Catalina, backpacking, camping, and traveling to new destinations. A fun fact about Dr. Beran is that she lived in Tanzania for four months, studying wildlife conservation and political ecology. During her time there, she did a homestay with a Masaii tribe, learned Kiswahili, and summited Mt. Kilimanjaro.
